Greetings Maggers,

Today, I deliver you the "State of the Network" address, which will provide you with an overview of our first quarter, as well as what's ahead in the coming months.  Despite a period of transitioning from the re-location of our community forums at the start of the new year, the AP Network launched its inaugural writer swap.  The writer swap allowed six of our featured writers to make a one-episode guest stint on one of our network's featured serials.  If you were unable to catch the writer swap celebration during it's initial airing, you can catch up on all the glory by visiting the official release threads below:

The conclusion of our 6-week long writer swap was followed by the highly anticipated release of our "2009 Best & Worst" Issue.  This issue also includes our community-wide Secret Santa Shuffle.  So be sure to check out the questions some of your fellow maggers had to answer if you haven't already.  And if you want to participate in a weekly Q&A challenge, consider making a cameo apperance for a round of Question of the Week.  You can even host your QW session, simply PM me for details.

In other exciting news, the AP Network is now on Twitter.  You can follow us via the most recent snippets box on our homepage, or directly through your Twitter account.  In addition, the AP Network Chatroom is also back up.

Roster Changes
You may have noticed that the forums for Spencer Street and South Beach have vanished from the "Current Serials" section of our board.  As of March 22, 2010, Spencer Street is no longer a featured series with our network.  Spencer Street has been an affiliate of this network since mid-2004, so the decision to revoke its membership contract did not come easily. Be advised that this ruling in no way affects the possible return of Spencer Street to the web.

As mentioned earlier, the South Beach' forum has also been removed.  While we are still negotiating the terms of SB's membership, the series remains affiliated with our network, albeit on an inactive status due to its extended break.

The Coming Months

  • The 2010 APA's are underway.  You may visit the website for further details, and/or to vote in the regular featured polls.  If you would like to be involved with the judging process this year, contact Dallas Walsh for details.
  • New Issue of OSW Magazine - The AP Network is currently wrapping up the planning process for our 16th issue, which will be an honorary parent's day issue, as well as provide you with the latest plot developments and summer previews.
  • AP Network Anniversary Week 2010 - Expect another week-long series of events in honor of our 6-year anniverary.  Planning will begin in May.  If you have any ideas of what you would like to see this year, contact me via PM.
I do believe that is wrap.  Thank you for your time and see you around the boards,

Ty
