If you have been to the AP Network homepage (http://www.oswmagazine.com) recently, you may have noticed things were shuffled around a bit.  You can now log on to our forums from the homepage, as well as see who is currently on-line.  In addition, the "Latest News/Discussion" session at the bottom of the homepage is now dynamically updated with the last 8-10 recent topic entries on our forums.  I thought this would be a much better way of ensuring that the content remains fresh and up-to-date.

New promos have also been added for Forever & A Day and One Day at a Time.  There are a couple more updates planned for the site, including the release of our latest issue.  So tuned.

Our Winter Previews/Ode to 2009 Issue is expected to hit screens the week of January 31st.

Thank you so much for the update, Ty! I anticipate the next issue- I know it will include a lot of goodies for us all to read! Thank you again so much for your hard work. I'm also in contact with a friend here to hopefully get a promo for SB going for you. Smiley

I love the new logo Ty! What was your inspiration?

Is it a match lighting? or is it a pencil on fire? (I'm sort of hoping for the pencil since we are writers :p )

Well done, regardless.

I was sifting through some sample icons to spice up our logo, and the lighted torch was one of about three that stood out to me.  I was going to opt for just the standard "AP" acronym in a circle, but the way the light in the torch illuminates against the backdrop pulled me in more.  And now that you mention it, the make of stick does give the impression that it could be one of those big pencils that they use to give you in elementary school, so I guess it works.

Really, I just wanted to simplify it without having to include a URL, or some type of tagline - although "Light Up Your Screens" with Absolute Productions Network does fit with this one.  Thanks for sharing your endorsement.  Also, this one is much easier to make transparent.  So I can send copies to all of you.

Thanks Scott.  I'm not sure how likely it is we will be seeing the return of series photographs, but anything is possible.   Wink

On another note, I finally figured out how to update our Emoticon library.  So we once again have a whole bunch of goodies to choose from.   In addition, members on recurring or contract status may also increase/decrease the REP points for your fellow members with the newly activated Karma System, accessible only through topics and posts.

Have a nice day,
