Episode 11 has been released for your reading pleasure. On the site you will be introduced to Peter Jones, Elizabeth's brother. In this Valentine's Day related episode, Liz and Austin's wedding takes place. Theme song for the episode is White Flag by Dido, song can be heard at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7HcWPDYtwI and there is a link in the episode as well.

As many have heard my thumb drive died taking with it episodde 10. Instead of re-writting the episode and risking holding up the production of the first season of the series I choose to re-write 10 later in the coming weeks, it will air as a special episode over the summer. Below I have attached an Episode 10 recap and the link for 11.

Episode 10: Recap

Jacob and Austin discussed his kiss with Vanessa, Austin neglected to metintion his fling with Kate. Alan and Bridgette had a meeting, where he asked her not to publish the book. Cade and his sister discussed her situation with Brian and Jake, and she discovered a secret with her brother. Peter surprised his sister as he arrived for her upcoming wedding. Bridgette and James decided to flle for a divorce. Sharon and Garrett discovered that Callie had been helping Tyler.

Hey Kelly,

First of all, I have to say I think this has been my favorite episode of WL to date! I just felt like every scene had me glued to the page. Very, very well done!

Austin/Liz -- I can't believe they married! I was thinking the entire first scene "Is she going to go all ODaaT on us?" (only cause I've had my share of weddings gone bad). I loved how you continued to drop that she stayed clean the morning of her wedding. So nice. Austin looking over at Kate during the ceremony was a nice tough as well. I actually feel bad for Kate; she clearly is so in love with Austin and she wanted nothing more than for him to suddenly realize he is in love with her too ... only for him to marry Liz. I love how she's using Cade as an escape.

Jake/Vanessa -- More awesome scenes. Quick question though: why the sudden change from Jacob to Jake? Not that I'm complaining, I think this is the first episode that I noticed it. I love the use of flashbacks to when they were younger and just starting you. I know before their history was mentioned, but it's nice to actually READ it and see it come to life on the pages. Awesome work.

Paige -- Whoa, I can't believe she told Shane the truth. Changes the dynamic of their relationship, not to mention Ryan's hold over her. Because we are missing the episode, I'm not sure her reaction right after the blackmailed sex ... I can only imagine how disgusting she'd feel though. I like that she opened up though.

Like I said Kelly, this is my favorite to date! Keep up the amazing work!

Thanks so much for the feedback Dallas. I'm really floored that you thought this was the best episode of the season, I worked really hard on it and it always makes me happy to hear when something pays off for a reader or not.

I thought about not following through with the wedding while writing it, but I decided to follow through for the rest of the upcoming storyline related to everything. I wanted it to be a semi happy episode as well. The case has taken a huge dark cloud over the series and that was the intention, but I really wanted Liz to have a moment of happiness and shine amongst her drug addiction. As for Kate/Austin, I think Kate does love Austin and I think Austin wanted to do the honorable thing and marry Liz, which he did. Of course when their one night stand comes out, the crap will hit the fan so I am thrilled this worked for you.

Yay to hear you liked them I debated for a long time about their flashback to that summer they decided to get together and felt it was appropriate and really showcase their first love so to speak. The change from Jacob to Jake, I think happened around Episode 5, for some reason it seems to flow better when I write Jake and it feels a bit more natural, depending on who he shares his scenes with.

I am really glad that you enjoyed the layers and the growth here for Paige as a person and her relationship with Shane. I think Paige has been trying to come clean for a while about what happened that night and it reached a breaking point with all of it. Her aftermath of Ryan's attack will be featured in that missing episode, so I was glad to see that you felt or saw the shame and guilt of what she was feeling.

I echo Dallas' sentiments.  This was a really good episode.  You seem to have an interesting puzzle coming together in regards to the moments leading up to, during and after Hannah's death.  Paige murdering Ryan and Brian's father was definitely a surprise, and I doubt that the story ends there as we still don't know if this was done purposely or by accident, or what business Paige even had with the man.  But it's nice to get some context to everything that's been going on with her, and via Shane, no less.  I'm curious to see what his reaction will be to this in the next episode.

The reveal also paints Brian in a semi- better light since the reasons behind wanting to unlock Vanessa's memories, while not completely noble, are in an effort to resolve what happened to his father.  Unfortunately for him, I still find the rooting interest in Jacob and Vanessa.  It just seems to me that's where all the history and passion is, no matter how hard Jessica tries to insinuate herself into the picture.  Plus, being able to look from the outside in, it's hard to trust a person's feelings once you learn that you were merely a means to an end.  But I will say that he came off as genuine when he was telling his brother how his feelings have changed since then, which would explain why he's hesitant to tell her the real reason he sought her out.  However, I do think that's his best bet at this point since the longer the misconception carries on, the worse it is going to look when Vanessa does find out.

I'm still trying to work out how Jessica is involved with it all.  The likelihood that she had something to do with the accident would definitely explain why the DA is desperate to see that this case stays covered up.  But then why Hannah's father?  To what end would a grieving father being willing to see his daughter's death not righteously repented for?

Oh, and I still love Callie and Tyler.  It's just great when a couple-in-training can take time to enjoy the festivities around them.

I think I have told Dallas this before but when planning it I wanted the events that took place the night Hannah died to have a beginning, middle and end. I was hoping that people would love the twist with Paige, that just adds to the mystery.

I truly don't think Brian is a bad person, he is essentially in town to find out what happened to his father and like Ryan pointed out he has lost sight of that with being with Vanessa. I like that people root for both of them though it does seem that people do want Jacob/Vanessa to find their way back to each other. As for Brian, he should probably fess up before Vanessa finds out.

With 3 episodes left of the season Jessica's involvement will become very clear very soon. All that I can say is that I hope the payoff is well received by readers.

I love Callie/Tyler I think their relationship is probably one of the best to write for the show, because it is so simple and unlike their siblings and the older friends there is no complicated history there. Minus his sister died, her sister was behind the wheel and they seem to now believe Vanessa was innocent. One of the hardest things I did was re-cast Callie, due to them being so popular with readers.

Thanks as always for the feeback Ty, it means a lot!
