I've seen this done on Youtube and over at the Epiguide so I thought I would start it up here. How it will work is you just list five fun facts about yourself and we can keep alternating or adding to them if we want too.

5 Fun Facts about me!

1. I can write with my toes, I stated on the Epiguide this a while ago. I can write with pen, pencil or crayon with my feet. Sometimes my family calls me Monkey Girl.

2. I have a major celebrity crush on Chad Kroger from Nickelback, if I wasn't married well you know. I find him sexy, I love his voice. It could be the hair. It is kinda odd that West Lake hasn't had a theme song yet from them.

3. I am deathly allergic to pineapple if I eat it. When I am around it my throat gets itchy and I break out.

4. I despise reality TV. I won't watch it so don't ask me who won Idol, or Dancing With The Stars because well I don't care. Same with Survivor, So You Think You Can Dance and the rest of them.

5. I'm a One Tree Hill and Supernatural buff, I collect the DVD's, the posters. I collect the Supernatural magazine, I've met the OTH cast. I can quote them both really well and I know a ton of trivia from both shows.

1. I am obsessed (as some of you may be aware) with Sharon Tate. O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D! I want a Sharon portrait tattoo, but I am scared to get it because I've seen some rather bad portrait tattoos & the last thing I want is a mangled tribute to Sharon on my back. Shudder.

2. I wanna be a rock star, but I've made my peace with the fact it probably won't happen. I'd still be totally open to it if it were to arise in the future, though.

3. All of my close friends are at least ten years older than me.

4. I use old butter containers and cool whip containers as bowls and storage containers. Maybe this is just a Southern thing, but waste not, want not.

5. I have gone from a size 22 to a size 12 (yes, my fat ass fits in a 12!) since going on a 10 gram of fat per day diet in February.

Thanks Kelly! The best part of it is, I didn't get into this to lose weight. I was just trying to avoid being sick. I got REALLY sick in February (throwing up blood, etc) and had to go to the hospital. Long story short, they did little to help me but advise me to stay on a low fat diet. I came up with the number (10 a day) on my own. I didn't realize at the time that on the standard 2000 calorie diet, you're allowed 50(ish) grams per day. So I cut it WAY down and I guess that paid off for me, because I'm looking awesome & I'm not getting sick every day either. Smiley

By the way, if anybody wants to lose any weight, get with me. This diet WORKS, kids - and you do not starve or suffer.

How fun! Lets see....

1. I lost exactly 100 lbs after high school. I was 278 when I graduated and by the next year or so I fell down to 178 due to lots of cardio and eating better.

2. I have never touched a hard drug in my life- and never will.

3. I skipped a grade in elementary school- well, to be exact, I was 'bumped up' from the second to the third grade mid-way through the year. I know how to spell encyclopedia in the secong grade....crazy!

4. Even though I am gay (very!), two girls kissing still turns me on...I know, I know!

5. I have never done Karaoke....I am deathly afraid of crowds!

1.  I'm the youngest of 6 siblings, all of whom used to take turns beating me up because I was such a brat.
2.  Went to Van Nuys High School, which was used in filming Fast Times at Ridgemont High (one of my favorite movies).
3.  Had an on-again off-again cocaine problem for two years in college.
4.  Prefers not to be labeled sexually.  I'm actually attracted to women and men equally.
5.  Spent a year interning for the Mayor of Honolulu in Hawaii.

Five Random Facts

1.  I still find myself watching Curious George and Arthur on PBS in the mornings before work.

2.  I hated taking afternoon naps as a child.  I found it very annoying forcing yourself to go to sleep when all you were doing was counting the minutes before you could be up and playing again.

3.  I've been stung by a bee at least twice.

4.  I have a scar (barely noticeable now) on the right side of my face, near the bridge of my nose and directly below my eye.  Word to Wise:  Never play "Ring Around the Rosie" in your mom's room, and forget to close one of the dresser drawers.  Scary incident.  Now that I think about it, it seems I was a bit accident prone as a child because I also have a burn on my right leg from an incident with a hot iron.  There was also the time I got stitches because some snotty nose kid pushed me, causing me to hit my head.

5.  I became comfortable driving by first operating a golf cart.

5. I have never done Karaoke....I am deathly afraid of crowds!

I'm floored.  I would think karaoke might be right up your alley.  I've done it once, but it was among friends for the most part.  There were a few strangers there, but I able to tune them out since they were removed from the karaoke sector of the evening.  I think I was so high on the excitement of everyone else that I was able to get through any nerves I might of had.  Of course, I royally butchered the one song I later find out, but oh well.

05. Is really anti-drugs/alochol of any kind.

I agree with you there.  Social drinking just never appealed to me.  And drugs, aside from a handicap when it comes to swallowing pills, I really try not to rely on medication unless I'm direly ill.  I'm not one of those people who will pop an aspirin the minute I feel a headache coming on.

I have always wanted to visit Hawaii Andy, this must have been so much fun and a great learning experience for you!

I have never done drugs, no way I think watching my uncle die from a brain tumor from years of drug abuse did that one to me when I was 15. I will admit it though I like nice drink every now and then and to go out and have a good time.

I do not like public speaking or crowds either Jay, major fear of mine. Heck I don't even like cameras or people taking my photo or recording me.

Thank heavens I was not alone on this one as a child. I was to active to be forced to take a nap in the middle of the day, even though yes I was made. It will warm my mother's heart to know that I was not alone in my endeavor! LOL

Very cool and interesting facts so far guys!

It's good to hear so many people don't get caught up in the drug thing.  Being conditioned at an early age that it's dangerous probably helps.  For me, I blame my environment and my weak willpower forthe years I was doing drugs.  It was everywhere I turned around in high school, and in college it got even worse.  I spent more time high while at UCLA than I did studying, but miraculously I left here with a B average.  Plus I was hardcore into working out and weight lifting, so imagine doing that and getting high on cocaine at the same time.  I was drawn into the party scene and didn't have the sense to steer clear of it.  It's refresehing to see people here saying "no way!".

Same! I know people who are like "Just try it, you'll love it" but because of health reasons and me liking being sane and stable, I choose not to. Same with the alcohol. I'm the only sober one in my family.

Five Random Facts

1.  I still find myself watching Curious George and Arthur on PBS in the mornings before work.

I watch CG in the afternoon with my baby cousin. I'm OVER them telling me George is a stupid monkey who can do things I can't do!

5 things about me, that you don't know...

1). i am the middle child. My mama had 5 kids, I have 2 older brothers, a younger brother and sister. For the record Dallas is older then me.

2). I could have graduated high school, a semester early. By the end of December, I had over 100 credits, and all the classes that are required to graduate from high school. Wisely I went back for the 2nd semester and upgraded some of my marks.

3). I'm incredibly shy. When I first meet new people, I stay quiet, and just take in the surrounds, and vibes that everybody is putting down.

4). I am a loner. I have a few super good friends, but not many. i much prefer making sure that the relationships I have are solid, and I don't care much for letting others into my world.

5). I am an insomniac. I can manage to function on 2-3 hours a sleep daily for weeks on end. When I am sleep deprived, I am at my most creative and that is when most of my writing comes out.

As the oldest of my siblings, I wish I was the middle child. Interesting Pat!

I really wouldn't have guessed that from you, you seem pretty out going here on the boards!

5 More Fun Facts About Me:

1. I am adopted, as are all three of my siblings. I have a full sister who lives in Las Vegas and her birthday is the day after mine. I also, have no desire to ever met my biological parents unless it becomes medically necessary.

2. I adore and love my animals, hands down they are all spoiled rotten to the point where we do birthday parties for them.

3. I LOVE the Chronicles of Narnia, both the books and the movies I also adore C.S. Lewis as an author. My cat is named Aslan.

4. I do not like to cook or clean. I'm not domestic and neither is my husband.

5, By the time I was in 8th grade I was reading at a college reading level to the point where my english teacher but me in advanced classes up at the high school. To this day he is still one of the most influential teachers I ever had in my life, he says he is still waiting for me to publish something LOL.

1. I am the oldest child in my family [although everyone thinks my eighteen year old sister is older by looks & personality].

2. My father died in a motorcycle accident when I was nine. That said, I like motor vehicles with four wheels.

3. If I go an hour without laughing, then you know something is wrong.

4. I have two tattoo's. A heart on my wrist with a keyhole in the middle of it. & On my side I have the "gay symbol" with stars around it.

5. I've never made a promise I didn't keep. [If I know I can't keep the promise, I just tell them I wont].

I'm so sorry. I lost my father too at a young age so I know how it feels!
