So, with Wimbledon starting this week, my question is a sports themed question.

What is your favourite sporting event of the year? Why do you love the event so much?

Great topic, Dallas!

I would have to say that my favorite sporting event of all time would have to be Basketball. Not only because I played in school, but because my father and I had a special bond and tradition we would celebrate each year with college basketball. Every year when the brackets would come out we would pick our top teams and bet something that the winner would receive. It was always great fun to put a little competition into it and those are some of my favorite memories to this day. Smiley

My favourite sporting event is Wimbledon. I love the tradition and history that is incorporated into the event. I love how there are no major ads on the backboards. I love how you have to wear white. I love that it's "old school" tennis (serve, volley!). It's, without, the best 2 weeks of tennis in the year.

I'm up @ 4:30 tomorrow am to watch!

My favorite sport has always been basketball, because it's a fast-paced game (not boring) and because it's simple to follow and understand. Therefore, my religious event of the year (er, um, sporting event of the year) would be theNBA Finals!

I used to watch basketball all the time, but now I only watch the finals. I may not know who's playing until game one, but once it's on, I will not miss a second of it. I even got in trouble a few weeks ago because I was paying more attention to the game than I was to my job. Oops.

PS: How much does it suck that Kobe has yet another undeserved ring, won on the backs of other players (cough, Ron Artest, cough)?

My favorite  sport to watch is Football, to play it is Volleyball.

Football we watch the pro season every year and everyone has their own teams Dan and his family are Packer Fans. I am a Chiefs Fan minus when they play the Packers LOL. The Super Bowl if by far my favorite sporting event, we do a pot every year of betting on the final teams round robin style.
