So I love the Primetime Emmy's more so than the daytime Emmy's, probably because most of my viewing has to do with Primetime.
So I should be packing at the moment for my trip this weekend but I had to post the list it is really going to be a good race this year I think.
Outstanding Comedy Series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" "Glee" "Modern Family" "Nurse Jackie" "The Office" "30 Rock"
I don't watch a lot of comedy TV shows, it's just not in my personality, I have however heard that both Glee and 30 Rock are really good.
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series Toni Collette, "United States of Tara" Edie Falco, "Nurse Jackie" Tina Fey, "30 Rock" Julia Louis-Dreyfus, "The New Adventures of Old Christine" Lea Michele, "Glee" Amy Poehler, "Parks and Recreation"
See above I kinda just have to go with the both of these shows in the categories.
Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series Alec Baldwin, "30 Rock" Steve Carell, "The Office" Larry David, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" Matthew Morrison, "Glee" Tony Shalhoub, "Monk"
Outstanding Made for Television Movie "Endgame" "Georgia O'Keeffe" "Moonshot" "The Special Relationship" "Temple Grandin" "You Don't Know Jack"
I saw Geprgia O'Keeffe on Lifetime and I thought the movie was very well done. I saw most of the other nominees but I really loved Georgia.
Outstanding Miniseries "The Pacific" "Return to Cranford"
Hands down this is well deserved if it wins, this miniseries was amazing this year!
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie Joan Allen, "Georgia O'Keeffe" Claire Danes, "Temple Grandin" Hope Davis, "The Special Relationship" Dame Judi Dench, "Return to Cranford" Maggie Smith, "Capturing Mary"
I am alright with either of these ladies winning I thought both were very good in their roles.
Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie Jeff Bridges, "A Dog Year" Sir Ian McKellen, "The Prisoner" Al Pacino, "You Don't Know Jack" Dennis Quaid, "The Special Relationship" Michael Sheen, "The Special Relationship"
Ian was awesome in The Prisoner and I adore him as an actor and have for years.
Outstanding Reality-Competition Program "The Amazing Race" "American Idol" "Dancing with the Stars" "Project Runway" "Top Chef"
Don't watch any of them so I really don't care.
Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series "The Colbert Report" "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" "Real Time with Bill Maher" "Saturday Night Live" "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien"
See above.
Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series Bryan Cranston, "Breaking Bad" Kyle Chandler, "Friday Night Lights" Matthew Fox, "Lost" Michael C. Hall, "Dexter" Jon Hamm, "Mad Men" Hugh Laurie, "House"
This was so hard to pick as I think all the nominations are deserving minus Matthew Fox, as I cannot stand him. That being said I think Kyle's nomination is long overdue and I adore that FNL even is on the list so I have to root for him.
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Connie Britton, "Friday Night Lights" Glenn Close, "Damages" Mariska Hargitay, "Law & Order" January Jones, "Mad Men" Julianna Margulies, "The Good Wife" Kyra Sedgwick, "The Closer"
I am really sick of Kira or Mariska winning in this category so I am going with a new lady. I adore FNL and Connie's nomination has been a long time coming, that being said I am alright with her or Julianna taking it for the Good Wife. I adore the Good Wife as a show and it is probably my favorite new show from last year.
Outstanding Drama Series "Breaking Bad" "Dexter" "The Good Wife" "Lost" "Mad Men" "True Blood"
I am rooting for the Good Wife hands down, it is awesome I love the show, the acting is awesome the storylines are great. I can't find one flaw with the show that I know of, Dan and I tune in every week, we both love the story it's a show we can enjoy together and has kick as females on it, LOL. That being said with Lost just ending I have a feeling it will finally win in this category.
Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series Chris Colfer, "Glee" Neil Patrick Harris, "How I Met Your Mother" Jesse Tyler Ferguson, "Modern Family" Eric Stonestreet, "Modern Family" Ty Burrell, "Modern Family" Jon Cryer, "Two and a Half Men"
Since I do not watch any of the shows I think I am alright with anyone winning here.
Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series Aaron Paul, "Breaking Bad" Martin Short, "Damages" Michael Emerson, "Lost" Terry O'Quinn, "Lost" John Slattery, "Mad Men" Andre Braugher, "Men of a Certain Age"
Hands down if anyone from Lost has to win an Emmy I want it to be one of these guys. I still think Terry should have submitted himself, as lead but I am alright with either of these two taking it.
Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Miniseries Or A Movie Michael Gambon, "Emma" Jonathan Pryce, "Return to Cranford" David Strathairn, "Temple Grandin" John Goodman, "You Don't Know Jack"
I really wasn't impressed by the nominees here after watching them so I am alright with any of them.
Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series Jane Lynch, "Glee" Julie Bowen, "Modern Family" Sofia Vergara, "Modern Family" Kristen Wiig, "Saturday Night Live" Jane Krakowski, "30 Rock" Holland Taylor, "Two and a Half Men"
See previous comedy stuff, LOL.
Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series Sharon Gless, "Burn Notice" Rose Byrne, "Damages" Archie Panjabi, "The Good Wife" Christine Baranski, "The Good Wife" Christina Hendricks, "Mad Men" Elisabeth Moss, "Mad Men"
This was so hard to pick, I think Sharon was awesome this year on Burn Notice Dan and I adore this show that never gets the recognition that it deserves. Same for the Good Wife, Archie and Christine were awesome this year. That being said I have a feeling that one of the talented ladies of Mad Men will take this one.
Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie Kathy Bates, "Alice" Julia Ormond, "Temple Grandin" Catherine O'Hara, "Temple Grandin" Brenda Vaccaro, "You Don't Know Jack" Susan Sarandon, "You Don't Know Jack"
Julia owned her role in Temple Grandin and I really hope she wins.
Outstanding Guest Actor In A Comedy Series Mike O'Malley, "Glee" Neil Patrick Harris, "Glee" Fred Willard, "Modern Family" Eli Wallach, "Nurse Jackie" Jon Hamm, "30 Rock" Will Arnett, "30 Rock"
See above comedy notes.
Outstanding Guest Actor In A Drama Series Beau Bridges, "The Closer" Ted Danson, "Damages" John Lithgow, "Dexter" Alan Cumming, "The Good Wife" Dylan Baker, "The Good Wife" Robert Morse, "Mad Men" Gregory Itzin, "24"
No surprise here but I love the Good Wife and I think Alan and Dylan are both great in their roles on that show, so I really am rooting for them.
Outstanding Guest Actress In A Comedy Series Christine Baranski, "The Big Bang Theory" Kathryn Joosten, "Desperate Housewives" Kristin Chenoweth, "Glee" Tina Fey, "Saturday Night Live" Betty White, "Saturday Night Live" Elaine Stritch, "30 Rock" Jane Lynch, "Two and a Half Men"
See comedy notes.
Outstanding Guest Actress In A Drama Series Mary Kay Place, "Big Love" Sissy Spacek, "Big Love" Shirley Jones, "The Cleaner" Lily Tomlin, "Damages" Ann-Margret, "Law & Order" Elizabeth Mitchell, "Lost"
Since both of the ladies of Big Love have already won here at some point, the Cleaner is no longer on air. I am going to go with Elizabeth Mitchell if any female had to be nominated from Lost I would want it to be her and to win.
Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program Phil Keoghan, "The Amazing Race" Ryan Seacrest, "American Idol" Tom Bergeron, "Dancing with the Stars" Heidi Klum, "Project Runway" Jeff Probst, "Survivor"
Don't like reality TV, don't watch it don't care.
