New at the fan club: A preview of Interlude #2, Fireworks (part one), which will air between chapters ten & eleven, and will hopefully shed a little more light on just what happened the day of Carol Mathison's murder.
It was mere coincidence that brought Marnie to Hazel’s today. She was looking to try something different, and just get out of the office for a little while. The last thing she expected to see was Carol Mathison glaring daggers at her, from the second she walked in. She appeared to be alone, and Marnie’s entrance into the dining area immediately captured her full attention.
Her eyes burned as she watched her walk past, the contempt written all over her face. Marnie could clearly tell by just glancing over at her that she was dying to say something, but she wisely chose to keep her mouth shut. However, she did move to the other side of the booth, taking what Marnie could only guess was Terri’s vacated seat, to watch her more intently as she waited for service.
Marnie did her best to just ignore her rabid audience, as she deliberated over the menu. However, it became harder and harder to deny Carol’s seething anger the more times she looked up to find her glowering at her. Marnie felt her cheeks grow hot, and before she could take a moment to think about what she was doing, she found herself right in front of her.
